The Best Lingerie I’ve Tried! // Blogmas day 3

Hi friends!

I recently discovered the amazingness that is Adore Me.com. It is a subscription service but the amazing ting is, yoou don’t have to pay monthly. You can skip the month if you wnat. (I havn’t skipped anything yet haha) Victoria Secrect is where I would always get my intamates at, but for some reason, I started to feel bored of them. I mean, the quality is amazing and so were the styles but the prices are just… too much for my budget! And for my size, I take a long time to find a bra to fit me.

Adore Me.com has a ton of styles and not just lingere either! They have super cute pjs to choose from. The sizing is so on point. I feel so good wearing their products and I can spend so much time on their website just looking through all the styles.Β I probably have about 80 things added to my wishlist haha!

I love that fact that I now can feel, I don’t know ‘sexy’… when I usually don’t. I don’t like to spend a heaps amount of money on VS and when I find something I like it’s always too high for me. Don’t get me wrong through girls because VS is a great great store! I just fell in love with a new company and I’m okay with it!

I ordered another piece, a red bodysuit, oh my gosh it is so cute! I can’t wait to order more. I mean I am going to give all of my money to this place lol!

Have you tried Adore Me? What are your thoughts? Quick question, do you wear lingerie for yourself or your significant other? It is a little bit of both for me.

This can make a great gift for yourself this year, or if you are looking for a gift to give your hubby this is it too!

My Morning Coffee Winter Edition // BLOGmas Day 2

If I don’t have coffee in the morning, I just feel out of place. Even in the winter, I can still drink iced coffee. It can be 30 below and I will have an iced coffee.

I love using my travel mug from Walmart, that says “Eat, pray, slay.” It’s so me haha!

So I put together a couple of my favorite coffee blends I do in the morning before work! (or the night before)

Peppermint White Chocolate (iced or hot)

  • I brew one cup on my favorite coffee, which is Donut Shop Regular mmmm so good!

  • Then, I add me delicious Bailey’s White Chocolate Peppermint Bark Creamer! This creamer is new to me this year, I usual get the Peppermint Mocha from CoffeeMate but I spotted this and wanted to try it. Now I might just buy a couple more to last me the whole winter!
  • After that, you can drink it right away or add a little bit of One Touch Latte Creamer. Seriously, it’s worth a try. I bought it because I had a rebate from my iBotta app (that is worth it too) That is if I am drinking it hot. If I’m drinking it cold, I set my coffee in the fridge overnight and when I am ready to head to work in the morning I add the creamer then.

Caramel Vanilla Swirl (iced or hot)

This is best when cold!

  • Again, I brew my favorite coffee, and then I add 3 pumps of Starbucks caramel syrup I purchased from Walmart for under $6! I can see this as a good gift.

  • I then mix in my Vanilla Almond Milk Creamer. I am lactose intolerant, and I find this Creamer to be very easy on my stomach. If I do use my other creamers, I take my medication.
  • Again, you can have it sit overnight and add your ice cubes or you can drink it hot. I love this cold it’s so refreshing to me.

I add so much Creamer to my coffee it looks a socially like coffee flavored cream lol! But, I hope you enjoy these recipes! I really would love to hear your holiday coffee drinks. I am always ready to try new coffees!

Winter Tag 2017 // BLOGmas Day 1

It’s December! I love watching Vlogmas videos on YouTube because it gets me so ready for Christmas. This year, I am going to attempt to blog everyday for 25 days! I will center it around the holidays, hopefully I can add a giveaway too!

I am in a group called BossGirlBloggers on Facebook that connects other bloggers together for collaborations, advice, etc. the created I the group put together a super fun tag I knew I wanted to be apart of!

You can check out her answers here.

1. What if your favorite holiday tradition?

Growing up, just about every Christmas Eve my sister and I would watch How The Grinch Stole Christmas. It’s my favorite holiday movie! But it has to be the Jim Carrey version because he makes the movie hilarious.

2. What is your favorite go-to lippies?

Im still in search of a good red lip. I just don’t know what brand really earns that title for yet but I did find some other colors that I love for this time of the year.

Lipsense and I have a love-hate relationship. I love it because it stays on allll day and I hate it because it’s expense lol. I mean, the gloss is $25! But it really does have amazing staying power. The shade is GlamDoll which is a mauve-y brown-y plum-y shade. So pretty I love it. Then I have NYX Butter Gloss in Gingersnap which is a dark brown gloss. NYX has the best glosses, I want like every color.

3. What is your favorite winter scent? (Candles, perfume, etc.)

Perfume wise, I love my trip from B&BW. Winter Candy Apple, Vanilla Bean Noel, and Twisted Peppermint! Twisted Peppermint gives me a cotton candy vibe. I switch between these tree during the holidays and I spray generous amounts lol.

For ‘candles’ I love my Christmas Spirit essential oil from YoungLiving. I add a couple drops to my diffuser for a calming citrus scent.

I’m like so into oils right now I have Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Lemon, and Orange right now. I’m seriously considering purchasing their entire starter kit thing!

4. What’s your go-to winter fashion trend?

Scarves and boots. Always. I have a pair of really adorable black heeled boots I am dying to wear! Ugh and don’t get me started on scarves I wear a different one everyday. If I get scarves for Christmas I would totally be okay with that.

I prefer to stay home. I like to enjoy the holidays in a cozy environment and I don’t know for some reason traveling is stressful for me.

8. What is your favorite winter skin care must have?

I finally got around to trying DevaCurl! I am amazed by their products. My hair lasted for 5 days without washing. It is super moisturizing and defining to my curls which is perfect for winter. I use the Deva Curl Ultra Defining Gel Define and Control and the DevaCurl Styling Cream Touchable Curl Definer. These are travel sized but believe me I am buying the full sized ones from Ulta very soon.

Other staples would be my OGX Coconut Curls Conditioner and the Garnier Fructis Whole Blends Monoi Oil & Orange Blossom Shampoo. Both are amazing!

Growing up I wished for snow every winter. Now that I live in Montana, I dont ave to wish. When it snows here, I’m excited but not when I have to drive anywhere. I will get really bad anxiety.

13. What is one item on you wish list this year?

I really want the Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume. I ask for it every year for about 3 years now. It’s such a beautiful floral scent I just can’t describe it but it’s me. It’s so me.

Cookies! I love sugar cookies! And I also loved Peppermint infused treats as well lol.

Date Night Meal Idea // Penne With Italian Sasuage

Whoop whoop! It’s date night!

Our town, as I mentioned before doesn’t have a huge selection of chain restaurants. So when we want to be fancy, it always Applebee’s.

Deciding to eat it seems to become more and more of a routine.

Tonight, I am making Penne pasta with Italian sausage! It is so yummy. I usually don’t go for the ground sausage, but I wanted to try something new.

I use the amazing sauce from Sam’s Club that I’m sort of obsessed with. You have to try it, okay?

You can spice up this meal with a side salad or garlic bread!

The sauce stickies right to the pasta and it is so rich with flavor! And I love the spice of the sausage as well. Mmm, perfect combo!

Ingredients

Garlic Bread or Side Salad optional

Penne Rigate pasta

Meat of your choice, we used ground Italian sausage

Pasta sauce of your choice, we used Member’s Mark Romano Pasta sauce

1. First, you are going to want to start to brown your sausage whole you are boiling the penne.

2. Depending if you are making garlicbreqs with it, you will want to preheat the oven at this time.

3. After the sausage is fully cooked, gldrsjn grease and set aside.

4. When the penne has reached the texture you want it to be, drain the excess water. Remove from heat and stir in the sausage.

5. Slowly stir in the sauce with the penne and sausage until it it evenly mixed.

You are done! You can pair your pasta with a nice glass of wine. Or in this case since i’m not 21… Welche’s grape juice!

Don’t judge me lol! Mmm, its so good I even don’t mind eating leftovers. And I hate leftovers. This is a super easy recipe bit it makes for a great romantic meal.

So, When Are You Having Kids?

Is the question I seemed to get asked all the time. By new friends or family whenever they see us and know that we are married.

So here’s a little story. At 18 I got married to my childhood sweetheart and we moved square across the United States to Montana. Now, I am 20 we still do not have any human babies. Just furry ones. But a lot of our friends who are our age are having kids they are so happy and cannot wait to see there little one or they are constantly saying how wonderful it is, and sometimes I think I’m missing out. Then others, I feel too young to raise someone myself.

A part of me says no. I don’t want this. Because honestly, I don’t know who I am yet. I mean I have so much stuff I want to do in life. I want to get to the point where I am happy being who I am. Then the other part of me says having a baby might jumpstart that happiness. It will give me a sense of purpose and teach me how to be an adult the right way.

I just don’t know. I’m so torn! I think it has to do with the constant question. Everyone is sort of expecting us to be pregnant already, you know? Just because we are married doesn’t really mean that though.

And in no way am I saying having children right now will stop me from being myself. It’s just a scary thing.

Being married young doesn’t mean I have to do everything else early, or does it?

So I’m going to ask you when are you having kids? How old are you and when did you get married? I want to know if anyone is in a similar situation that I am. Experiencing the thought motherhood is so scary to me!

Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Happy Friendsgiving!

So, being a military wife means you miss out on holidays with family and you celebrate with the next best. Friends! Since the majority of our group was posted for Thanksgiving, we decided to celebrate a few days later. It’s never too late for turkey!

This is me, I was really proud that my hair actually stayed flat for a bun and my shirt was only $3 from Walmart! Okay, back to pie xx

Growing up, my mom and my older sister would make amazing pumpkin qns sweet potatoe pies. I would always make deviled eggs with my dad. This year, I wanted to recreate their pies to share with all of my friends!

Now I didn’t go all out and use real pumpkin, I used canned but you know it is still homamdebthat way!

Ingredients

1 can of Pumpkin Puree

2 Cup of milk

4 eggs

2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp ground nutmeg

1 1/2 Cups of sugar

7oz of Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed milk

2 pie crust (I used Pillsbury brand)

Yes! This is the ‘secret ingredient’ my mom would add. It makes the pies a little bit sweeter and thicker. It does take the pies a little but longer to cook by adding it but not is worth it. Only half the can should do.

1. Preheat the oven to 450. Mix together the eggs and spices in a bowl.

2. Add the pumpkin and the rest of the wet ingredients

3. Mix until everything is thoroughly blended and divide the mixture between two pie crust.

4. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes then lower temperature to 350 for 45 minutes. The pies are done once you stick a fork in and it come sour clean.

My pies needed an extra 10 minutes before they were complete!

Tada! Now you have two delicious pumpkin pies to eat! The first didn’t come out the way I wanted… But hey it was my first try. I’m so in love with cooking and baking dessert right now, I think I found a new hobby lol!

Our Favorite Place \\ 5th Street Diner

Here in Great Falls, we don’t have a ton of chain restaurants to choose from. But, we fell in love with this mom and pop place that we go to just about every week.

It’s called 5th Street Diner, and it has a 50’s vibe to it with antique decor and posters all around. The music is 50’s as well as the menu.

We have become regualrs now, we order the same thing every time! My husband gets a Cheeseburger with Diner fries and I get the Turkey melt with Diner fries. (Diner fries are so amazing you can’t order without them) and I get an Italian soda and my husband hers a coke. Simple. Everytime.

Everyone there is so nice and friendly! After we eat we always walk around to the other stores downtown and window shop. It’s the highlight of our day eating our lunch here! If you live in Great Falls, take a trip to 5th Street. The milkshakes are even better that imagined.

What are some of your favorite spots in your town? I’d love to her!
