The Best Lingerie I’ve Tried! // Blogmas day 3

Hi friends!

I recently discovered the amazingness that is Adore Me.com. It is a subscription service but the amazing ting is, yoou don’t have to pay monthly. You can skip the month if you wnat. (I havn’t skipped anything yet haha) Victoria Secrect is where I would always get my intamates at, but for some reason, I started to feel bored of them. I mean, the quality is amazing and so were the styles but the prices are just… too much for my budget! And for my size, I take a long time to find a bra to fit me.

Adore Me.com has a ton of styles and not just lingere either! They have super cute pjs to choose from. The sizing is so on point. I feel so good wearing their products and I can spend so much time on their website just looking through all the styles. I probably have about 80 things added to my wishlist haha!

I love that fact that I now can feel, I don’t know ‘sexy’… when I usually don’t. I don’t like to spend a heaps amount of money on VS and when I find something I like it’s always too high for me. Don’t get me wrong through girls because VS is a great great store! I just fell in love with a new company and I’m okay with it!

I ordered another piece, a red bodysuit, oh my gosh it is so cute! I can’t wait to order more. I mean I am going to give all of my money to this place lol!

Have you tried Adore Me? What are your thoughts? Quick question, do you wear lingerie for yourself or your significant other? It is a little bit of both for me.

This can make a great gift for yourself this year, or if you are looking for a gift to give your hubby this is it too!

Winter Tag 2017 // BLOGmas Day 1

It’s December! I love watching Vlogmas videos on YouTube because it gets me so ready for Christmas. This year, I am going to attempt to blog everyday for 25 days! I will center it around the holidays, hopefully I can add a giveaway too!

I am in a group called BossGirlBloggers on Facebook that connects other bloggers together for collaborations, advice, etc. the created I the group put together a super fun tag I knew I wanted to be apart of!

You can check out her answers here.

1. What if your favorite holiday tradition?

Growing up, just about every Christmas Eve my sister and I would watch How The Grinch Stole Christmas. It’s my favorite holiday movie! But it has to be the Jim Carrey version because he makes the movie hilarious.

2. What is your favorite go-to lippies?

Im still in search of a good red lip. I just don’t know what brand really earns that title for yet but I did find some other colors that I love for this time of the year.

Lipsense and I have a love-hate relationship. I love it because it stays on allll day and I hate it because it’s expense lol. I mean, the gloss is $25! But it really does have amazing staying power. The shade is GlamDoll which is a mauve-y brown-y plum-y shade. So pretty I love it. Then I have NYX Butter Gloss in Gingersnap which is a dark brown gloss. NYX has the best glosses, I want like every color.

Left: NYX Right: LipSense

3. What is your favorite winter scent? (Candles, perfume, etc.)

Perfume wise, I love my trip from B&BW. Winter Candy Apple, Vanilla Bean Noel, and Twisted Peppermint! Twisted Peppermint gives me a cotton candy vibe. I switch between these tree during the holidays and I spray generous amounts lol.

For ‘candles’ I love my Christmas Spirit essential oil from YoungLiving. I add a couple drops to my diffuser for a calming citrus scent.

I’m like so into oils right now I have Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Lemon, and Orange right now. I’m seriously considering purchasing their entire starter kit thing!

4. What’s your go-to winter fashion trend?

Scarves and boots. Always. I have a pair of really adorable black heeled boots I am dying to wear! Ugh and don’t get me started on scarves I wear a different one everyday. If I get scarves for Christmas I would totally be okay with that.

Boots Scarf

5. What is your all time favorite holiday movie?

I already mentioned it! But to add another on the list, it would have to be Elf. I love comedy holiday movies if you haven’t noticed.

6. What is your all time favorite holiday Tune?

All I want for Christmas is youuuuuuu baby! Mariah Carey of course!

7. Do you prefer to travel or stay home for the holidays?

I prefer to stay home. I like to enjoy the holidays in a cozy environment and I don’t know for some reason traveling is stressful for me.

8. What is your favorite winter skin care must have?

I have eczema, so I religiously use Aveeno products. One of my faves for the face is the Positively Radiant Sheer Daily Moisturizer. I love the feeling it gives my face. And when the cold air hits it doesn’t feel dry and cracked.

9. What is your favorite winter hair care products?

I finally got around to trying DevaCurl! I am amazed by their products. My hair lasted for 5 days without washing. It is super moisturizing and defining to my curls which is perfect for winter. I use the Deva Curl Ultra Defining Gel Define and Control and the DevaCurl Styling Cream Touchable Curl Definer. These are travel sized but believe me I am buying the full sized ones from Ulta very soon.

Other staples would be my OGX Coconut Curls Conditioner and the Garnier Fructis Whole Blends Monoi Oil & Orange Blossom Shampoo. Both are amazing!

10. What is your favorite winter activity?

I love baking cookies for santa every year! Sugar cookies with egg nog mmm the perfect combo. I also love playing with the snow. Fun fact I never ever built a snow man. I’m hoping this year I will be able to.

11. What is your go-to favorite winter beauty product?

Glitter shadow! You can’t go wrong with a nice shimmery shade during the holidays. Or even for New Years. I love to jazz up my look during these months because everyone is so festive and I am constantly going to different events.

I have this shadow from an ipsy bag and I have yet to use it. I was going through my collection and I was like hey that is a really good shadow!

12. Do you love to hate the snow?

Growing up I wished for snow every winter. Now that I live in Montana, I dont ave to wish. When it snows here, I’m excited but not when I have to drive anywhere. I will get really bad anxiety.

13. What is one item on you wish list this year?

I really want the Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume. I ask for it every year for about 3 years now. It’s such a beautiful floral scent I just can’t describe it but it’s me. It’s so me.

14. What is your favorite holiday treat?

Cookies! I love sugar cookies! And I also loved Peppermint infused treats as well lol.

15. Do you finish you shopping before December or are you a late shopper?

I start shopping Black Friday and continue all the way until Christmas Eve. I tend to find things I love and put them up. Then, I get them all out and decide “Okay, who is getting what this year?”

Now it’s your turn because I tag all of you!

Current Go-to Makeup Look (What’s In My Makeup Bag)

It’s been a long while since I sat down and wrote a blog post. Life has been crazy, too crazy to handle but, I’m back! Lately I have been reaching for a few specific products every morning. I like to add all of those products to cut down time on the morning (so I can enjoy my coffee) to a makeup bag and sit it on my bathroom countertop! This bag is from my mom-in-law! It’s so cute!

HardCandy Sheer Envy Dark Spot Correcting Primer

I am loving this primer right now because it’s makes my face feels so soft. As far as the dark spot correcting I do see a little bit that my concealer sort of sticks to my face a bit better. I have this ONE acne scar on my cheek that I can’t get rid of! Ugh!

Maybelline TheFalsies Push-up Angel Mascara

This mascara is really popular right now. I’ve seen a lot of other bloggers talk about it and for good reasons! It makes my lashes look so long a full, it’s my go-to and I’ll repurchase it over and over.

Chapstick in Cake Batter

I’m really simple. So I usually just put on a sweet chapstick and I’m out the door. When I have more time I do put on gloss or lipstick with color to play up my look. This chapstick smells and taste just like cake by the way!

Covergirl Easy Breezy Brow Shape&Define

I’m new to the brow game. I have tried pencil before and it’s alright, I didn’t like how unnatural it looked on me. Again I am new to brows so I do need some practice but I really like how easy this gel is! I just brush the spoolie through my brows ad it looks so neat and natural.

Maybelline FitMe Concealer in Cafe

Hands down my favorite concealer! I’m at in desperate need to take a trip to Ulta to discover new products but so far all the other drugstore concealers I tried wasn’t a hit. This one, lady a while and it goes on so smooth. It has great buildable coverage.

Kajal Vasanti Waterline Eyeliner in Intense Black

This was a pick from a past ipsy bag! I tend to get a lot of eyeliners son like to switch up the one I use to get rid of them. This one works pretty well and it is easy to draw a wing, which is what I do!

I don’t use it in my waterline, I don’t use any eyeliner in my waterline but the pencil is small enough for you to do so.

Mikasa Beauty E220 Brush

I love this concealer brush! I made a post before that I am an affiliate with Mikasa Beauty and for good reasons! The brushes I purchased from them are incredible to me and I never used a concealer brush that blends this great for me!

L.A.B2 Just Blending in Brush

One of my favorite blending brushes. It blended so well and yes I got this in an ipsy bag! I like to use this one because I can do a couple sweeps over my eyelid and the color is blended in and I’m ready to leave. And tada! My everyday makeup just for you guys! Thanks for reading. Xx

September Ipsy Bag

Better late than never, right?

Okay here is another Ipsy bag review for you! Seriously, if you are not subbed yet, you should! I get to try different types and brands of makeup I never knew of or got to try before. For only $10 a month! Plus, you get a cute makeup bag to go with it lol.

So this months theme was Boss Babe and it was a realllly cute black leather studded bag! I used it as an on-the-go makeup bag for my purse. (Would you like a blog post of what’s in it? Let me know!)

But, what I am really over the moon with is I received a ColourPop product. Yes, hold the phone. I have been wanting to try ColourPop forever but I didn’t know what to get first. Their lip products (from what Insta tells me) are AMAZING!

Adesse Organic Infused Nail Lacquer

IMG_0251.JPG

I got yet another nail polish color, but I’m not mad about it. The color is a very pretty grey (perfect for fall) that is a lot similar to the other grey I received in a previous ipsy bag. You don’t need to do too many coats for the color to show!

IMG_0252.JPG

Manefit Beauty Planner Mask

IMG_0254.JPG

I have been obsessed with face mask recently! And I was=nted to try the Korean brand ones for a while. I was super stoked to see TWO of them in my bag! My face felt so soft and it was glowing, if you haven’t tried a face mask yet, do so!

ColourPop Lippie Stix

Eeek! ColourPop! I already boosted about my thoughts of ColourPop above but yes, I love this Lippie Stick. I mean, the color is right for me, it’s too bright for my liking but it goes on soooo smooth. oh my gosh. I’m ordering the same formula but in a different color.

I don’t know what the sahde is, if you are a ColourPop fanatic you are going to hate me lol. But I can’t find the name of it!

Beauty For Real Eyeliner in Jade

Now we have a stunning jewel-toned green eyeliner I am in love with. It makes my eyes look brighter and I look a little more refreshed after applying it! I always loved wearing green makeup with my skin tone, I think it complements it very well. This liner is so smooth and I have it in the shade 24K Gold too. No need to use a wing with this one, just line your upper lash liner and you can use a blending brush to blend it out and tada!

LUXIE 207 Medium Angled Shading Brush

Speaking of shading, I now a perfect angled shading brush in my collecition! I’m like, amazed at how it can transform my looks witht he ability to smoke out the browns and purples I use. Yes, I started venturing out with fall colors!

I can make a Fall Makeup Look blog post for you guys in the future!

Alright, so my bag was some kind of awesome last month. I’m so ready for my October bag! What did you girlies and guys get? Let me know!

My 3 Favorite Fall Lip Colors

So fall is here and I couldn’t be any more excited! I’ve been on the search for the p e r f e c t nude lip color for fall. Then, I found the one at Walmart. Yes! It is from Maybelline! I love it so much. Okay, let’s get into this so I can show you swatches!

Maybelline Lip Stick in 940 Touchable Taupe

The color of this lipstick is browner than anything else. It has a slight pink-y shade to it when applied on my arm but on my lips I don’t see it come through as much.

Finding a nude color for me has been hard because of having darker skin, I tend to find colors that are too bright. I wanted something nice and neutral, and well I found it! It is perfect for an everyday lip color honestly. I also sometimes pair it with another product which is the Neutrogena MoistureSmooth color stick in 100 Pink Nude. I apply the color stick to the middle of my lips and smooth it out just to add a little hint of color.

Y’all, that’s my hubby! ❤

Maybelline Lip Stick in 405 Pretty in Plum

Next, I have a color that I would only wear on date nights or if I am going somewhere in the evening. It is another product from Maybelline. Can you tell I love them? It screams fall to me with the purple plum shade that is not too bright but not too dark of a lip color. I love this lip stick paired with a gold/brown eye and winged liner!

I picked a really bad photo but at least my dog is cute.

Cougar Products 24-hour Liquid Lipstick in Mulberry

Last but not least I have a beautiful berry shade! This color doesn’t last a whole 24 hours but I don’t mind. It has fall written all over it! This shade came in one of my ipsy bags, thanks ipsy!

What are your favorite fall lippies? Let me know in the comments!

August ipsy Bag Unboxing! // TheAirforceSweetheart

It’s that time again! This month, oh my gosh I think I hit the jackpot. One, the bag is so adorable! It says “Peace Love Lipstick” and I love the orange ombre color!

The theme for this month is Good Vibes. Basically, it’s just promoting happiness and peace with a little hippie vibe.

Marc Anthony Strictly CURLS Curl Envy Perfect Curl Cream

DSCN1042

I love getting hair products in my bag. I am a product junkie and I buy more than I need. I just feel like I need to try every single type and brand out there. I heard of this product before, all good things. I am *so* excited to try it! Right now I am using the Eco Styler Gel and Coconut Curls conditioner for styling. (Yes I use a conditioner as a leave in!)

sundays Nail Polish in No.28

DSCN1043.JPG

The color I was sent reminds me a lot of fall. I think this is the perfect color to transition between the two seasons! I really like the fact that the packaging is so simple and minimalistic. Also, the polish is cruelty and toxin free!

Hey Honey Come Clean Propolis & Mineral Facial Scrub

DSCN1045.JPG

I always seem to get face scrubs in my bag too. Usually, I give them to my husband since he has super oily skin and is prone to breakouts more than I am. I have sensitive skin, so I don’t use too many different scrubs.

But, I do like the smell of this and the fact that it exfoliates. I may be using this one for myself this month!

theBalm Cosmetics theBalm Voyage Vol.2 Eyeshadow in Willkommen

DSCN1046.JPG

I’ve been wanting to try theBalm Cosmetics for a while now! I am in love with the vintage packaging they have! I heard that the eyeshadows are super pigmented. Judging from this shade I was sent I guarantee that I will be purchasing others from this brand!

The color Willkommen is a simple nude shimmer shade. Which is exactly what I like! Sorry, it took me a long while to get a photo of the swatch and well, this is what I got haha. It has a nice shimmer that catches the light.

Make Up For Ever Excessive Lash Arresting Volume MascaraDSCN1053.JPG

Make Up For Ever is another brand I wanted to try! I have a favorite mascara already, two actually but I am excited to try this one. The fact that is is so tiny makes it perfect for travel. Since I do wear glasses, I look for mascaras that great volume and drama to my lashes so they can be seen behind my lens.

Well, that is what I got this month! What did you get? I am the most excited to use the curl cream!

June Ipsy Bag Unboxing

Let me tell you guys…

Re-subscribing to Ipsy was the best decision! I love just about everything in my bag, which makes me so excited for next months. The theme this month is Volume Up, it is about expressing yourself and being bold with your look. The hair and makeup choices the artist chose for the models are really inspiring, I’m definitely going try some of them out.

First off, the bag is super cute. It’s perfect for a little travel bag or a makeup bag for your purse.

I’m sort of new to the makeup world so I love trying out things I would of never purchased on my own.
NYX Whipped & Fouetté Lip & Cheek Color in Cocoa Bean

I wanted a brownish/nude color to try on my lips but the ones I always pick are too pink or too light for my skin. I love the fact that it is a 2-in-1 product. Oh and I love NYX, one of my favorite brands! The consistency is creamy and it blends well. I love how it is so simple and easy to use, it makes doing my makeup a lot faster. I know I will be purchasing the other colors in this collection at some point.

CHIA Curl by Trissola 5-in-1 Defining Curl Cream

This cream is claiming to deliver weightless, bouncy, healthy curls. I am ready to try this cream (I love curl creams!) but, I am forcing myself to save it. Since it is a travel sized package, I can use it when I go on vacay in two weeks! I did open it and it has a nice floral scent. I hope this does work, I’m afraid my hair is too thick to benefit from this small tube. I use ALOT of product, but hey we will see!

Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in Game Changer

Honestly, the color is too bright for me. I can describe this color like a sort of neon peach? I used three coats, (no top coat) and it did last a couple of days. It is a nice polish but the color is not for me.

Luna Eye Shadow in Jade

I really really like this color! I am a neutral eye kind of girl so I can never have too many. It is a very soft almost pale brown color with a pink undertone that shows up if you really pack the color onto your brush. I would use this a a nice base color for an everyday look.

Beauty For Real 24-7 Eyeliner in 24karat

Okay last but not least, eyeliner! I almost never go without my winged eyeliner like it’s a must for each makeup look. I feel like I don’t look complete with the wing. So I was so happy to find this GOLD eyeliner in my Ipsy bag. I have so many ideas on how to use it I am going crazy lol. The color is perfect and even the name is similar to a song I love witch is even better. The color catches the light and it glides on sooo smooth. I will be finding different shades from this company just because of that!

Thank you for reading! What did you get in your Ipsy bag? I would like to know!
