My Winter Fashion Essentials // blogmas day 10

Boots

I have 4 pairs of boots that I switch up between. I have my favorites, which are brown riding boots that I wear with jeans, leggings, or even dresses. Then, I have s pair of black heeled booties I love to pair with dresses and leggings. Those booties are more for ‘going out’! Boots are essential to my winter wardrobe because I hate getting my feet wet in the snow. Boots are just more convenient!

Hats

I’m not a huge fan of hats but I do throw one on every now and then. I have one black Columbia beanie I love so much. It keep my head so warm! But I get major hat hair lol. I have to keep my husband from stealing it from me.

Cable Knit Socks

I love socks. Cable knit socks are even more to love. They are incredibly warm. And soft, too. I always think it is necessary to have a couple pairs of good, warm, socks for those snow days.

Blanket Scarves

Okay, my husband thinks I’m crazy for owning so many blanket scarves. He thinks they are too big and bulky but truth is they are just so warm I can’t let them go. I have two from Hollister that are lying on my couch right now because I literally use it as a blanket sometimes! I have a plain white one and two patented ones!Yes, that’s my scarf!

Leggings

Can you own too many pairs of black leggings? Because I have three. It is the ultimate outfit maker! You can pair leggings with just about anything and get away with it. Plus, they are excellent for layering. Pull them on under. Nice pair of jeans you you’ll be warm all day. Those are my essentials! I couldn’t get through Montana winter without them! Plus a few other things like a coat of course!

Winter nails // blogmas day 8

Yesterday, I decided to paint my nails! I didn’t have a solid does of what I wanted to actually do, but I knee I wanted something with sparkle.

Yes ignore my horrible painting skills, it’s been a while since I’ve done it myself.

For the base, I used a rich blue color by SinfulColors in the shade Midnight. I did two coats of that and the layered a glittery nail color called Ice Queen by Sally Hansen on my ring fingers only. I allowed jrto dry and I thought hey this isn’t enough sparkle! So I dabbed a spot of glitter to each nail to look as if I had a diamond on them, like you see in Pinterest lol. I used a clear glitter from LA Colors.

Then, to top it all of I used a clear polish from Claires to protect my nails from chipping.

I like how it turned out! I mean, if I didn’t rush it I might not have got polish all over my fingers haha!

Winter Skincare Routine // blogmas day 7

The winter months make my skin so dry and I am more prone to breakouts for some reason.

I only use a handful of products that keep my skin looking healthy and clear!

First, I have to say one of my favorite skin care brands is Yesto. I’m in love with the entire line of facial wipes, each ingredient focuses on a different aspect of skin problems.

Say Yesto Tomatoes Clear Skin Detoxifying Charcoal Facial Wipes

What’s really cool to me about this particular wipe is the fact that is says detoxifying. I can sometimes feel the oil on my skin and I need to have some deep cleaning to get rid of it.Getting rid of makeup is really easy with these wipes too. Plus I think it’s super awesome that the cloth is black hehe.I usually end my day by using these wipes to remove all of my makeup. Depending on how my skin is reacting that day. If I have visible breakouts or my face feels extra oily, I reach for these.

Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Cleansing Pads

You can tell I enjoy wipes and pads more than actual cleansers. I don’t know, I just don’t like to get my hair wet some days and it’s super quick to just swipe swipe swipe across my face and be done!

That doesn’t mean I ruled out cleansers all together though. But Aveeno is another brand I can trust. I never breakout or get a bad reaction form any of their products. My skin is highly sensitive and I have eczema, very bad eczema during the winter months but I can always count on Aveeno!

I use these pads at night, again if my skin seems to be doing just fine and I just need to remove a bit of makeup and clear my skin of dirt. I love the smell of these and they actually last me a good while. I think they have about 30 pads? It’s worth the money!

Aveeno Positively Radiant Sheer Daily Moisturizer

In the morning before I apply my makeup I always Star out with moisturizer. Winter can make the skin so dry but this product give you a nice dewy look!

I’m interested in what your skincare favs are, let me know!

Lazy Day Off // blogmas day 6

Today was my last day off before beginning my ‘Monday’ back to work.

First I slept in which is what I love to do. I woke up next to my husband that is back from the field. We fell asleep on the couch from watching Netflix.

I made breakfast and caught up on youtube videos. Does anyone else watch Jessica from Jambeauty? I love her. I did cleaning and decorated the upstairs bedroom a little bit. I had an extra garland that I put above our bed.

Anyways, it was a super lazy day spent in PJs and eating pizza for dinner! Napping on and off and eating too much junk food haha. I also took a bubble bath and my husband and I binge watched more movies after.

How do you guys spend your lazy days?

The Best Lingerie I’ve Tried! // Blogmas day 3

Hi friends!

I recently discovered the amazingness that is Adore Me.com. It is a subscription service but the amazing ting is, yoou don’t have to pay monthly. You can skip the month if you wnat. (I havn’t skipped anything yet haha) Victoria Secrect is where I would always get my intamates at, but for some reason, I started to feel bored of them. I mean, the quality is amazing and so were the styles but the prices are just… too much for my budget! And for my size, I take a long time to find a bra to fit me.

Adore Me.com has a ton of styles and not just lingere either! They have super cute pjs to choose from. The sizing is so on point. I feel so good wearing their products and I can spend so much time on their website just looking through all the styles.Β I probably have about 80 things added to my wishlist haha!

I love that fact that I now can feel, I don’t know ‘sexy’… when I usually don’t. I don’t like to spend a heaps amount of money on VS and when I find something I like it’s always too high for me. Don’t get me wrong through girls because VS is a great great store! I just fell in love with a new company and I’m okay with it!

I ordered another piece, a red bodysuit, oh my gosh it is so cute! I can’t wait to order more. I mean I am going to give all of my money to this place lol!

Have you tried Adore Me? What are your thoughts? Quick question, do you wear lingerie for yourself or your significant other? It is a little bit of both for me.

This can make a great gift for yourself this year, or if you are looking for a gift to give your hubby this is it too!
